English CourseTutor Desktop Version Installation Guide
System Specification (Recommended):
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate (64 or 32Bit) and above
RAM: 2GB Minimum
Framework: Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and above
Installation Space: 500MB Minimum
Know the OS Type (32-bit or 64-bit):
First you have to check the Operating System (OS) type i.e. your OS is 64-Bit or 32-Bit. To find out your OS type you have to "Right Click" on "My Computer" (or "Computer") which is present on "Desktop". If you do not find the "My Computer"/"Computer" then simply click the "Start Menu". On the right side, you will get "Computer". "Right Click" on it.
Now select "Properties" from Right Click option list
Now we can see the OS type in "System Type" under "System".
First you have to click to download "Speech Platform Runtime". Then double-click on the downloaded file to install. If prompted, click "Yes".
Only after successful installation of "Speech Platform Runtime" (the order is important), you have to click to download "MSSpeech_TTS_en-IN_Heera" and then double-click on the downloaded file to install.
Only after installation of the "MSSpeech_TTS_en-IN_Heera", you have to download the "Register File (32-Bit)" and then double-click on the downloaded file to install.
Step-2 (Check if Indian accent is correctly installed):
Go the "Start Menu".
Select "Control Panel" .
Select "Speech Recognition" option.
Go to "Text to Speech" option located at the top left corner.
Select "Voice Selection" and if you find "Microsoft Server Speech Text to Speech Voice (en-IN, Heera)" then select that option and click "Preview Voice" to check if it works. If you do not find it then contact Abheda Foundation.
Step-3 (Install the software):
Click on the link to download "English Course Tutor" Just open the zip file. Excract files and click on the".exe" file to run directly.
If you want to create a desktop icon for the app, check the box "Create a desktop shortcut".
Step-4 (Install the .NET framework):
If .NET framework is not present in your system, the app will not run. In that case, download the .NET framework from Here and install it.
Install 64-bit
Step-1 (Installation of Indian Accent):
First you have to click to download "Speech Platform Runtime". Then double-click on the downloaded file to install. If prompted, click "Yes".
Only after successful installation of "Speech Platform Runtime" (the order is important), you have to click to download "MSSpeech_TTS_en-IN_Heera" and then double-click on the downloaded file to install.
Only after installation of the "MSSpeech_TTS_en-IN_Heera", you have to download "Register File (64-Bit)-1" and "Register File (64-Bit) - 2" (order is required). And then double-click on the downloaded file to install.
Step-2 (Check if Indian accent is correctly installed):

Click on the link to download "English Course Tutor" setup and Install it. Keep clicking "Next" and "Yes" till the installation is complete.

If .NET framework is not present in your system, the app will not run. In that case, download the .NET framework from Here
